Do you have First Class, Word, and four Internet Explorer windows all open at the same time and you want to get to your H-Drive desktop icon? Try these these two tricks:
Two-Button Tango: Just hold down the Windows flag key (between the Ctrl and Alt keys on the left side of the spacebar) and the letter D key at the same time. All your active windows are minimized together–don’t worry, nothing closes–and your desktop is clean and clear.
Right-Click Wonder: If you can find a “blank” area of the blue task bar along the bottom of your screen (try immediately to the right of the green Start button), then you can RIGHT-click in that blue space and select “Show the Desktop.” Again, the active windows are all minimized together.
