WordPress Posting Video

wordpresslogo.jpg  This is really part two or three of a series, but I grew up as a Star Wars fan, so, like George Lucas, we’re beginning in the middle.  After you’ve created a WordPress blog (coming soon to a theater near you), you need to write a post.  This is where you “blog away” and tell your tale.  The video tells you how.  Go to the NJN Digital Classroom logo on your computer desktop (in-district computers only) and navigate to the Chatham logo, then to the Digital How-To logo.  Scroll down to the Writing a WordPress Blog video.

IMPORTANT HINT:  Watch the video in full-screen mode to see what’s going on.  Once the video begins playing, pause it.  Right-click the video image and select Zoom > Full Screen, then click the play button again.

For those of you with a techie mind (attention: Steve M.), you may enjoy knowing about Microsoft Media Encoder.  This is a free download from Microsoft, and the program allows you to convert files.  For example, if you create a video using SMART Recorder, the saved file is in the AVI format.  We should use the WMV format for videos, and Media Encoder allows you to do that.  Very easy, and pretty quick.
