Don’t you love saving time? What if it takes only one click to start a program rather than two clicks? That’s a 50% savings! Cut your clicking in half by using the Quick Launch area of your Task Bar–the blue bar at the bottom of your screen.
Go to Start > Settings > Taskbar and Start Menu. A little window opens, and you can check the box next to the words “Show Quick Launch.” This will put an Internet Explorer icon and Desktop icon next to the Start button. One click gets you either the internet or minimizes everything so you can see the desktop!
